Mizata Surf Lodge is a brand new destination in El Salvador for surf enthusiasts from all over the world. 2007 marked our first year of operations. We opened our doors which lead directly to the Pacific Ocean and to some of the best surf in Central America. The lodge has all the amenities you need for a comfortable vacation which include a restaurant and a swimming pool. The rooms are spacious which include private bathrooms, a/c, ceiling fans, living room area and Direc TV. Mizata beach has 2 exceptional areas to surf; the point and the beach break. The Point is formed by a rock bottom river mouth which breaks both right and left. The right being the longest, 100+ yards on a good swell direction. The point holds up to 8 feet perfectly. Works best at mid tides. The Beach Break is formed by a reliable sand bar which is usually an A-frame barreling wave. Holds up to 6 feet perfectly. The surf is usually uncrowded on the weekdays and it is common to be surfing alone all day long.
